Mane Colonial Classic

Meas and his staff team looked after me with care. They were all courteous and kind and friendly and helpful! The food was excellent and my room was lovely. I felt very at home here and very happy with my stay.

There are no windows in the bedroom but the bathroom was bright and airy with big windows.

The staff were friendly. The rooms were large. The beds were comfortable. The fresh passion fruit juice was out of this world. The building had a lot of potential to be a great hotel.

The noise. There were roosters that would crow between 2 am and 7 am. My kids slept through it all but it woke me multiple times a night. The staff were friendly and kind but poorly trained. I am writing this not to trash them but rather to give honest feedback in hopes they receive proper training. There was not a single staff member that we did not like. We moved from a 3 star hotel and paid more than double the price to this 5 star hotel to treat our family and stayed for 8 days in the two bedroom suite. Everyday for breakfast the staff got something wrong with our order. Most of the time it was something minor and we just eat what they brought. Most of the confusion was that I could not speak Khmer and they spoke very little English. Also most of the time they did not write down our order so with the language barrier by the time it got to the kitchen something was left out. In the 8 days, we had our room cleaned only once. We didn’t mind as we are not a high maintenance family but we did run out of water and toilet paper multiple times. It would have been nice to have fresh towels every other day. This never happened when we stayed at a 3star hotel at half the price. Even if they didn’t clean the rooms, it would have been nice to not have run out of toilet paper when you needed it most. Also on the last day of our stay, we asked the front desk if they could mail our postcards and was surprised when they told us no. I know now it is uncommon to send postcards but I was a little surprised a 5 star hotel would refuse such a small request . Overall we really liked the staff. Like all people we encountered in Cambodia, they were friendly, kind and honest. All the issues we had with staff was not their fault. They deserve to have better training. We were not angry with the staff but were disappointed with the management of Mane.

Staff outstanding especially night staff nyah..loverly. also smart TV excellent.

Gym disgraceful broken equipment running road and bike broken typical no money spent on maintenance this is not 5*

Room size, cleanliness, breakfast, but above all - the attitude of staff who were proactive, outgoing and extremely polite!

Maybe, the absence of an elevator... But then again - additional exercise!

I got an upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment, well I was alone, it didn’t worth it The staff very kind, arranged transfers as well the tuk tuk for Angkor Wat The a la carte breakfast is what I love

If there was an elevator they would get a 10

Due to some issues we wete relocatted to sister property, which was even better than hotel. We have our own villa.
