Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place Hotel

This property & the staff were way beyond expectation. We were in town for a 3 day business meeting. From check in to check out the service was fantastic and the conference area was super nice. The room was nice and cleaned well every day. Food for the business part was AWESOME (I didn't eat at any of the other options) . I can't recommend this place more for a professional event or a great walkable place to stay while in town.

We were locked out of our room for over three hours. Within this time I went to the front desk and asked three times and still they didn’t fix the problem until I went a fourth time. Had to get our room keys changed two times just to use the elevator. Unacceptable.

Room wasnt clean when i first arrived. I had to wait a while for one. At first they told me i would have to change the type of room i had i thought that was ridiculous. Cleaning services was nice and friendly. The restraunts were very nice as well inside hotel.

I love the restaurants and the facility as a whole. It was a convenient place for us to stay since we had to be at the Mass Mutual Center the next morning. All the staff were friendly and accomidating. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable.

The parking garage to the hotel was full so we had to go around the corner which was a pretty good distance away from the front door of the hotel. Since we checked in at 9:30pm the parking area was a bit sketchy, dark and not lit up very well. There were no attendants and most of the parking closer to the hotel was for reserved parking, which most spaces were empty. So that was not favorable. The pool area was not impressive. The sauna was locked /closed. Both showers in the pool area were out of service, and the ladies room was out of order, leaving only one bathroom to change in and use the facilities. There were 5 of us altogether. We were charged $313.00 per room per night. We reserved 3 rooms, they were all corner rooms. One of the 3 rooms had a huge bathroom and was definitely bigger, yet the price for all 3 rooms was the same. We were booked on the 5th floor, but we were stuck going up and down in the elevator after check in because the desk attendants did not inform us to use the room card to get to the 5th floor, and we did not see a sign with instructions to do so.

The staff was so accommodating!

Traveled to Springfield for family celebration not held at the hotel. Hotel turned out to be a night club with loud music playing until midnight!! In addition they had a cheerleading competition with young girls racing around the hotel and yelling until after 10:00 pm. If you are looking for a place to relax and sleep don’t come to Sheraton Springfield!!
