Nice View Lodge

It is really a beautiful stay, with an amazing view on the ricefields and the Sigiriya rock. The stay is very beautiful, nice garden with all varieties of flowers and plants. Sometimes you see some wild animals in the garden. The room is small but it has basic stuff, airco, hot shower and mosquito net. The temperature during the night in the room was also very good. They provide a good breakfast.

With this amazing view, the location of the property is a bit away from the main street. About 15 mins walk. Please keep this in mind while booking this place. But the host is also providing tuktuk transport if you require a ride.

The best accommodation I have ever booked!! This is a 5-star lodging!! The room and the bed is huge considering I have only booked for 1 person. It was so clean and everything you need is basically there. And the host, Udika, makes the most hearty Sri Lankan breakfast in the morning!! The property has a huge garden and a hammock where you can relax and just see how beautiful nature is. Udika also arranges tour and basically anything you would like to do in Sigiriya and the nearby places. I am honestly so happy to have found this gem! If I could give 6 star rating, I would! The property is so beautiful, you get more than what you paid for really. And Udika is an amazing host, always has a smile on his face and ready to help. It would be so hard to top the hospitality and service that I have experienced here, it literally exceeded my expectations way beyond!! Sehr schöne Zimmer, groß, Bett bequem, gutes Moskitonetz, schöner Balkon. Ruhige Lage an den Reisfeldern, etwas abseits des Zentrums, aber gut fußläufig erreichbar.

Frühstück sehr einfach gehalten und eher klassisch sri lankanisch, war leider nicht so unser Fall.

Personale molto accogliente ed ospitale. Ottima posizione per raggiungere Lion Rock. Colazione ottima e consigliamo il ristorantino a 100 m dove abbiamo cenato 2 volte

you must stay here! Host is friendly. Location is not on the major road but the off beaten path which endable us to see sigriya rock with the farm infron the hostel. Host areanged everything perfectly and he knows every places with length of time n distance. 1.5km to sigriya lion rock entrance Breakfast is good Juice is nice Room equipped almost everything I think 2.0 power air conditioning Heater Hair dryer Spotless clean Definitely worth every penny u payyyyyyyyyy

Het personeel, goed traditioneel ontbijt dat elke dag verschilt, de twee aparte bedden en de omgeving. Maar ook hoe behulpzaam ze waren met het regelen en adviseren van taxi’s en activiteiten.

Dacht dat we vanaf onze lodge uitzicht zouden hebben op de lions rock.
