Beautiful property! Very cosy and clean.

Lovely place to stay. It felt like we had known Lisa for years as she was such a great host. We are looking forward to staying at Ty Mynydd Lodge again in the future.

Excellent breakfast & generous portion/choices. The breakfast room is full of life, friendly & chatty atmosphere with other guests. Lisa Jones is an extraordinary host. She made us so welcome in her home, she made us feel comfortable, like we're members of her family. The location is central to castles we visited. Weather has spared us!

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Very interesting Roald Dahl connection. Beautiful historic cottage with lots of lovely original features.

Breakfast tasted a bit bland. More flavour needed eg organic eggs, bread and tomatoes would have tasted nicer.

A BATHROOM with very little space, no shelves to put toiletries on , no where to hang anything... A shower door that did not close leaving water dripping onto a not very clean mat Toilet brush rusted to the floor. Poor lighting.. BEDROOM... An uncomfortable bed and not a room to relax in. A misted up window which it was not possible to open to get some fresh air. BREAKFAST A few lessons in cooking breakfast would not go amiss, uncooked poached eggs and uncooked tomato. Presumably fresh slices of fruit were left out uncovered. A good choice of serial but left in opened boxes and not very fresh so no crunch.

Excellent place to stay, nice breakfast and very friendly. Looking to book to stay here again. Close to the train station for access to Cardiff etc.
