Hotel Garni 4U

We stayed here because of its proximity to the AFB. The rooms look like converted apartments so if you need to stay awhile, they have fridges, stoves etc... I was able to rent a "room" with 3 beds (2 in one room and 1 in the kitchen). It's worth the stay if your in the area. They have free breakfast and wifi. Good restaurant a 1/2 block away that stays open late. It's not plush but had everything I needed.

Nearby to Military installations/base 3 km to Ramstein AB, 12 km to Centrum Kaiserslautern, 6 km to Pulaski/Kapaun AS/Vogelweh. Handicap facilities include shower and wider doorways, ramp into building. Breakfast for nominal price with fresh fruit, juices, coffee, eggs, cheese board with deli meats, cucumber and tomatoes, various cereals. DO NOT WASTE FOOD...if you are not going to eat it, don't take it. Located on Bus route. FAMILY OWNED/operated since 1950s. Owners on site. Various sized rooms to accommodate one to family situations. WiFi is GermanHotSpot and is available in all rooms throughout all three houses. Many apartments/rooms have a kitchenette available, some with full kitchens. Ample parking behind. Lovely garden with fountain, seating, play area for children with huge shade trees and grass lawn. Restaraunts nearby include Italian, pub, Turkish, neuvo, pizza with delivery services from several. Grocery within easy walking distance in nearby village of Weilerbach (ALDI, Lidl, PennyMart, Netto) and Chemist is in village centre with several doctors offices for services (English spoken). If you are moving to Germany, LEARN the language. Afterall, you are in that country and no one has to accommodate you.

I decided to stay here so I could be near(ish) to KTown and still have an affordable hotel room which included breakfast and parking. I was not disappointed. The rooms were nice, the wifi good, and the hosts were very nice. The breakfast was also nice and the price could not be beat.

This was our 2nd trip to Germany and we chose to stay at Hotel Garni again since the first visit was great! Once again, the hotel was clean, has a fantastic family staff and such a delicious breakfast. I would highly recommend Hotel Garni for anyone looking for a great and comfortable place to stay when visiting Germany.

I've stayed at the Hotel Garni a half dozen times and have enjoyed each stay more than the last. They take wonderful care of their guests and really make you feel welcome. My family and I lived there for nearly 2 months and became wonderful friends with the owners. I recommend this hotel to everyone wanting a wonderful experience.

We stayed in the Hotel Garni for several months when we first moved to Germany. It was an excellent way to integrate into a new culture. The morning breakfast was a highlight of my day! It is amazing! Also I really like Hans...the host of breakfast. He is a really nice grandfather who is kind and really funny. He doesn't know a ton of English; however, that doesn't stop him from communicating! His wife Anna speaks English better than many Americans! She is also very fabulous. She cares about her guests and makes sure they have everything they need. Their son and daughter-in-law run much of the day to day things in the hotel and also speak excellent English. We were touched when the family invited all the hotel guests to Christmas dinner. We went every year we lived in Germany. It was so nice to have a family away from home to spend Christmas with. Hans and Anna are like everyone's parents or grandparents. It felt so great to talk with them. The Hotel Garni in Rodenbach is very close to Ramstein AB. We stayed there because my spouse's boss at LRMC booked it for us. Subsequently, everyone in our unit stayed there as well. Our sponsor picked us up everyday for meetings. You do need a car or a ride for LRMC, but I still highly recommend it because the stay is so pleasant. I highly recommend the Hotel Garni Rodenbach for anyone...American military and civilians as well as tourists and others staying in the area. It is a family atmosphere and so welcoming.

Five star hotel close to the base and to a ice cream shop I think most people would love it. Perfect place for thanksgiving. Excellent staff and kind maids. Awesome breakfast so if you are staying in Germany you should go if you get a chance try to go.
