La Nusa Penida Homestay by BIJAK

Nice apartments, comfy bed, good AC. Staff were polite. Great location for scuba diving and a short walk to all the restaurants and ferry.

Bathrooms basic. Unfortunately a strong smell of sewage around the communal areas and in the apartment bathrooms, which could be overwhelming at times.

The staff was really nice. They even stored our luggage for a day as we went around.

The facilities are outdated and the room wasn't really clean. There was a very strong odour of sewage in the room and on the premises which was really unpleasant.

The location.. walking distance to banjar nyuh port.. halal restaurants attached with the homestay.. easy to get food.. wifi strength is acceptable.. nice and helpful staff they hv there.. yes willl booked again in future

Need some maintenance to the room main door and aircond.. during daytime in hot weather its maybe a little bit not cold enough.. no prob at nite

Very clean and nicely decorated room. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They organised a tour for me and helped with transport. Great location close to shops and the port.

Very strong smell of sewage both outside and in the bathrooms. We had 3 rooms, 1 room the AC didn’t work and 2/3 rooms the WiFi wasn’t good and would constantly cut out. The smell was the worst, all 3 bathrooms smelled like sewage and in the outside strong smell of sewage

Second time staying at La Nusa with Putu. (That speaks volumes) 1st time was for 5 days last tear and i extended stay for a few more days no problem. This time i stayed 13 days as i am a diver and have friends very close by whom i love tocdive with...

This has nothing to do with la nusa but just helpful info.. If your a solo traveler like me eating out is a lonely business.And finding good places to eat allways a challenge... I'd thought I'd cracked it with JOGLO 2 doors away from La nusa and over the last 2 visits to la nusa and a newish eatery, have spent a lot of time and money eating in there most evenings. UNTIL i was refused a table because i was a solo diner the table i wanted wasn't reserved that was on the outside terrace. And he lied and said it was booked and said i should use the chicken shop next door.. when i eventually googled from my room another restaurant and left la nusa half an hour later the table i wanted at JOGLO Was still empty. So solo visitors beware. ill never eat there again..... I will be posting this on every other site i can as the boys from Joglo were very happy to take my money when they had just opened the restaurant but when they had a little success kicked a loyal customer to the street....

The property is nice, the room is pretty big and comfortable. The staff was really nice, the receptionist saw us tired and offered us cold water

Salty shower water

Saltwater shower and sink water. Air conditioning doesn’t get very cold but gets the job done. Definitely use the mosquito net provided and keep the bathroom doors closed during the night.
