Great location, nice open floor plan. Carine is a great host and very responsive to questions.

Entry way could be tricky to find if you didn't do some research, but we did, so no problem.

Impressed by the cleanliness of the flat; comfy beds; folder with helpful info on where to find supermarket, places to eat - all really very helpful for first time visitors to Gent. Great location - proximity to attractions and the tram. Excellent communication with friendly host, I couldn't ask for more. All in all a pleasant stay. I would rate it 10 out of 10 but for the stairs. It gets 9.5/10.

The stairs are windy and getting a big suitcase upstairs was difficult.

"Great time in Ghent"

The flat is in a great location, a few minutes walk to all the attractions and yet away from all the noise. it is also a few steps away from a tram station which cuts down on dragging suitcases through the cobblestone streets. There is everything you need in the flat, it is spacious, which is a luxury in Europe, and great for traveling with family. We had our room and kids had theirs. We hit a heat wave so it was a bit toasty the first night but Carine brought a few fans over and it helped a ton. Carine is a great host, very responsive and super helpful! I highly recommend it for your Ghent trip.

"Beautiful bright, clean apartment in excellent location."

Excellent city centre location - easy to get to from the train station. Simple access with door code. Spotlessly clean and visually appealing - bright and airy. Good contact from host. Was perfect for 4 people and I would stay in this premises again. Also Ghent Castle is a must see.

Steep stairs would be an issue for people with reduced mobility or buggies etc.

The design was fabulous and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect. It was great to have a coded door rather than a key.

It’s not a dislike but more a “heads up” - there are quite a few stairs and no microwave
