Sheraton Oceanfront Hotel

Spent a couple of nights here, celebrating Granddaughter's birthday. Our room seemed clean, and we were comfortable in it. The beds were okay. Great view from the balcony. Only complaints were about the door, which would not close automatically. So you had to remember to pull it shut when you left the room. And the in-room safe would not work. It had an error message that I think was saying that the battery was low. One other thing worth mentioning, is that the bathroom is VERY small. It was almost impossible to have 2 adults in there at the same time. The staff seemed very friendly, and we did have the breakfast buffet one morning, which was pretty average...especially for the price. But the location is amazing, literally steps across the concrete boardwalk to the stairs down to the beach.

No wifi, our room wasnt ready until 8pm, we asked for extra blankets, never got them.

I think the attached restaurant Mellow Mushroom was absolutely delicious and amazing. Cost was nominal.

I didn’t like the parking being separated from facility. Nor the fees related. The restaurant was understaffed.

Upon arrival I had to wait an hour for my room and the pool was filled with sand, dirt and dead bugs which was a little difficult for my one year old. Nothing was accommodated for the hour long wait of my room and I would honestly, never stay there again. The only good thing about the hotel was the lady at the front desk.

The front desk had on,y one personnel, even at the busy check-in and checkout times. The lines were long 😳

Location and some of the staff’s good attitude

Old property. Noisy AC. Requires a complete renovation. Slow internet. Stained and broken furniture. When asked the General Manager for a specific recommendation about the area, his answer was: Google it!

The one elevator wasn’t working for the first 3 days of our stay making for long waits to the 11th floor. Pool was full of sand and not cleaned daily. Homeless couple camped out at pool and cabana wasn’t pleasant.
