Warkworth House Hotel

Lovely village setting, fabulous building, lovely comfortable rooms.

I had a night away with my Bedlington terrier Squirrel for my birthday. My boyfriend came to have supper with us. I stayed in room 5. There was a,big stain on the sofa, a big crack in the bedroom wall. No lamp in the lounge area. I was told on arrival that they had been having problems with the bathroom. The front panel was missing off the flush. That didn't matter. I had just showered before I left so waited till till the morning to run a bath . Only warm water. I should have went down to tell them immediately. I lay in the tepid bath for 10 minutes and then decided to have a shower. I couldn't get the shower to work. I then went down to breakfast and I told a guy about it. No apology and he asked for my room key . I then went for breakfast and a few minutes later he gave me my key back and said there was now hot water and that I hadn't tried to use the shower properly. I packed my bag and checked out. Thankfully the rest of my birthday was great. We live in Alnwick. The lovely dog behind reception had the best customer service.

Great all round visit. Lovely place, people and service. Road was busier than expected (therefore noisy with window open esp first thing). Room warm and comfortable . Food excellent Definitely stay again

The hotel is very central to all of Warkworth. The restaurant is lovely with great home cooked food. Best poached eggs at breakfast. Nothing too much trouble. The hotel has lots of interesting local places to visit nearby. Warkworth is a beautiful place in itself.

Our cocker spaniel Annie loves this place as much as we do .Definitely a perfect place if you are travelling with a dog but of course its a great hotel without a dog too! Once again we were made to feel very welcome by all staff, a clean and comfortable room and enjoyed every meal Of course we will be back again!

The location was excellent. The room was very small but we only booked the night before and that was the only one left. We had our car damaged,we think in the car park,we asked for them to check the cctv but we have had no response.
