"Perfect for a large group"

The place is very spacious and perfect for large groups. We had lots of room each and plenty of fun meals around the large table. It's exceptionally peaceful and we all slept well. The host could not have been more helpful, recommending bike hire, taxi firms and fishing guides.

Hard to fault but locations and lack of bus service meant we were reliant on car. But we knew that before booking so it's not really a fault. And you get the peace and quiet of the country.

Plenty of space, very well stocked, comfortable beds, Jimmy was a wonderful and responsive host, having three bathrooms and washer/dryer was fantastic!

Very spacious bright house. Lots of indoor areas to sit plenty of room to entertain - I imagine it would be lovely outside in the summer. Great view of Croagh Patrick -very close to Westport. Host had decorated for Christmas which was lovely & left us enough wood etc to start a good fire.

Unfortunately the kitchen in particular & bathrooms were very dirty. I have never experience this in 18 years of renting various properties in and around Westport. There was a layer of thick grease over kitchen tiles and inside the microwave. The floor had not been cleaned and still had debris on the floor from prior use. The downstairs bathroom had engrained dirt around the dustbin. The shower enclosures were mouldy and had clearly not been cleaned for a long time. I spoke to the owner about this and he reduced our cost by the cleaning fee but I really think this property needs a deep clean. One of the upstairs showers did not work (the owner did try to resolve). My feeling is both bathrooms upstairs need renovation there’s lots of patch up type fixing around the showers and basins.

Fabulous roomy house ,plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms .downstairs bedrooms and bathroom was ideal for my elderly parents,loved big kitchen table all sitting at it together having breakfast...lovely and quiet at night for a great nites sleep.❤️

No complaints at all.
