Lawson Adventure Park and Resort

Absolutely loved our stay! The cabins are so cozy, the bed was super comfy, and the kitchen had all the necessary basics for cooking. The location is also terrific for access to Georgetown, Idaho Springs, Winter Park and more, plus great hiking/backcountry access at Jones Pass only 15 mins away. We are so excited to have found this place and will definitely be back!

These were better than expected, safe, super comfortable and clean. Good location for what I needed. A little highway noise but if you’re sick of hotel noise, this works much better. Kitchen was great, bed comfortable and bathroom was huge. Got a real text from the staff and felt taken care of. Would definitely stay again.

A last minute stay, wish I would've went elsewhere. The cabin was nice, the kitchen was great, but that's it for the positive. Arrived to a cold cabin, all heat was turned off. Radiators took 30 mins to make it not cold, over an hour to make it comfortable. BTW it snowed at night. Would have liked an extra blanket but there were none. Just the sheet, a heavy sheet, and a half bed throw. The bed it's self was hard, and the pillows paper thin. Woke up with long hairs on our body's, me and my partner are both build The seats for the bar / kitchen were cheap and uncomfortable. After the booking through hotels.com I was sent a long multipage contract and waiver. So there's been issues at this place before. Don't recommend this place.

Amazing location and staff

Beautiful…felt pampered by the upgrades and theme of “Iron Horse” cabin. Very clean, quiet, and Jessica from the front office was super helpful!

Friendly, relaxing atmosphere and helpful staff. Very comfortable cabin. Only downside was proximity to the interstate. Traffic noise required shutting bedroom windows in the evenings.

A most excellent place to stay! Basically a 350 sq. ft. tiny home with a nice kitchen, living room, bath and bedroom! Conveniently located between Georgetown and Idaho Springs, both of which have great restaurants and hiking, there's even coffee in Dumont! The only recommendations would be blackout curtains in the bedroom, body wash instead of bar soap, and a cutting board in the kitchen.

Great cabin in great location.

The beautiful photo of the "cabins" does not show you that you are immediately adjacent to the very noisy freeway. The sound of traffic bounces off of the granite mountainside and is LOUD and goes on all night. It was very hot the one night that we were there, and these do NOT have AC so all the windows had to be opened which was made worse by the loud traffic. Parking is limited (one space for each unit, which is fine), and our next door cabin insisted we move our vehicle from in front of our lodging because they had been there first! (WTH?) The refrigerator was apparently set to freezing. I guess I should have checked, but I was so tired that I just put our food in. All of our produce froze and was ruined. The price that Expedia quoted and what I thought we were paying was $25 less than what we were charged. All fees should be up front. For $312.67 in total charges for ONE night, this was a huge disappointment. We left immediately upon waking. This was definitely not the peaceful and picturesque accommodation that we were hoping for.
