Lawson Adventure Park and Resort

This was a great little cabin! We stayed 3 nights and it was amazing! A great value and the amenities were just what we needed. We will definitely be staying again.

Just to let you know we enjoyed our stay. They cabin was very nice. I did want you to let the owners know that their agreement that they make guests sign is very disrespectful. I work with hospitality in Estes Park this season and we try to make our guests feel at home and comfortable. If it means we have to replace items in our cabins then that is just part of doing business in hopes they will want to come back again and let others know how wonderful they were treated when they stayed with us. The agreement we had to sign made us feel so uncomfortable that we even brought our own towels! We left all of the white towels untouched because we were threatened with being charged for them if they looked soiled. Thank goodness it didn’t rain while we were there because there was so much loose soil outside there would have been lots of mud to worry about! We tried to leave everything perfect but couldn’t sweep because we couldn’t find a broom. Just sharing some info that might be considered in the future… we have stayed at many places and their agreement is the first and hopefully the last we will ever see. FYI there are nicer ways they could phrase things. I’m sure they hope for repeat customers and not threaten their guests the way they do in their agreement. Lynn Raynor

I would only stay here if you were going to use the adventure. The restaurant and bar was closed giving us little to do. The manager should stay in the cabin to see how odd the layout was. We also were charged a cleaning fee on top of the overnight charge.

Great Place. We stayed in the Aspen Cabin. It was equipped with handicap accessible bathroom which was awesome being that I’m disabled. Parking was easy. The only negative was the bed was super hard and the pullout couch was pretty uncomfortable as well. Everything else was great. Food from the bar and food truck was pretty tasty.

Poor experience from the get go. Showed up about 7:00 after booking a last minute stay around 5:00. Office was locked and when I found someone they seemed so put out that they had to open the office and check me in. Aside from feeling unwelcome and their unorganization, the little cabins have no a/c, no coffee and the front door blinds were broken (creating a privacy issue). Probably a great place for families with the ropes courses, arc’s and white water rafting but I can’t recommend it for last minute weary I-70 travelers.

We stayed in the yurts and really enjoyed it!

This cabin was dirty and the service was terrible! Stained sheets and towels, dirty kitchen utensils, and water damage in the bathroom from a leaky shower. They advertised a dishwasher and there was none, two tv's that did not work through our entire stay, and stated a queen bed that was clearly only a full. We never found the advertised free coffee even when we asked, and no coffee maker was provided. We would NEVER choose to stay here again, or take part in their activities since every one of our interactions with staff were either ignored or rudely answered with excuses. Spend your money somewhere else!

Kids loved the yurt!

The property was dry clean and the staff was very friendly.
