Arbor Inn Motor Lodge

The back door didn’t latch on its own, it had to be forced. This made us feel unsafe.

For a motel you don’t expect a lot. But this motel was 90$ for a last minute booking and I felt unsafe. Woke up to ants all over the floor, there was no soap at all anywhere for hands or washing. I think people live here cuz there was lots of evidence of big families living permanently in the space. If this was 50$ I would excuse this but for 30$ more I could’ve not been in fear for my life. The older man at desk was nice but the short woman was brutal

The issues i had was one, there were no lightbulbs in the nite stand in the room i was in (23) two there was a smell that kept waking me up, three when i woke up there was a damn cat in the room who deficated in the bathtub in which the guest with me picked it up with a napkin amd flushed to go shower. I was shocked to the point i even forgot to mention it to the clerk.

It was horrible when I arrived they didn’t have any rooms available.

Hotel was nice and clean. Service was very good as well.

It was an absolute dump, filthy, hair hanging off off the "clean" towel.

Nice quiet and clean

I needed an affordable place to stay for a few days and this place was perfect for that. Although it was rated a 2 star motel I wanted to give it a try. I booked my stay through Expedia and when I got there their system was not able to let them know. They asked to see the booking through my phone to complete the process. Nonetheless, they were nice so I didn’t make a big deal of it. I received a key card to enter my rooms and after carrying all of my luggage, I get to the door and the door doesn’t take a key card. So I had to go all the way back and let them know. They apologized and gave me a key on a ring. Exhausted, I finally get to my room and could tell immediately that it was not fully clean. Rather than complain, I went to a target which was down the street to buy supplies. I ended up cleaning every surface and even put new sheets on the bed. Initially, I thought I should have just stayed at a more expensive hotel but all I needed was a place to put my head. The place was busy but I was never concerned about anything. It wasn’t noisy and folks kept to themselves. My recommendation to the owners is to invest a little money into the place. The curtains were worn and in one place had duct tape. I had two twin beds and the bedding looked like it belonged to two different people staying there and not like the image online. I would definitely stay there again because it fit my budget and the staff was very nice. The place just needs a little TLC.
