Arbor Inn Motor Lodge

I did not stay at the arbor inn because there was some sort of problem, and our reservation was moved to another hotel. The review is got that hotel. There was very lighting and no windows. I appreciated the manager at arbor inn made arrangements for us while we were enjoying the day. There was nothing to do when we arrived besides getting the keys and going to the room.

Very loud room was by bar and entrance

My impressions were made upon arrival and looking only at the grounds, motel exterior and Office, and speaking through the glass to the receptionist. After paying a non-refundable fee, including use of a free night I had earned, I did NOT stay at this motel BECAUSE THE ESTABLISHMENT INFORMED ME UPON MY ARRIVAL THAT THEY HAD NO ROOM FOR ME !!! Therefore, I had to book another hotel nearby or return home three hours away, and cancel the appointment I had made for the next day. I could not have driven home and then slept and returned 160 miles for a 10 AM Sunday morning. Hotels.com needs to refund my money, return the free night I had used as partial pay and BAR THIS ESTABLISHMENT FROM ADVERTISING ON HOTELS.COM. I WOULD HAVE BEEN STRANDED IF THERE WAS NO ROOM AVAILABLE NEAR THE DESTINATION I WAS GOING TO THE FOLLOWING DAY. GET RID OF THIS SLEAZY EXCUSE FOR A MOTEL !!!

It is a grungy little place. A single light switch controls too much.

Absolutely awful. Run down and in disrepair. Extremely rude check in clerk.

I stay there all the time with my bf Its mostly quite there and can get a good nights rest. The people who run the desk are wonderful.

The new room I got was infested with drain flies and there were bugs everywhere. I cleaned everything but could not stay there surrounded by dead flies and bugs

There wasn’t a fridge in the room but there was a microwave and they didn’t provide much for toiletries. Otherwise, the property wasn’t bad and it was a decent stay.

Trying to check in is like trying to go to a State function. I was treated with suspicion. It took two people and a phone call to check if I really had a reservation. They now have bigger fridges, which is nice. The room was fairly clean but had dust on counters. The beds had clean sheets. The curtains were torn so they wouldnt close properly. They dont clean the room while your there We had a lot of trash, i brought trash bags. Asked the cleaning guy if he would take the trash, he gave me bags for the wastebaskets. There were small bugs of various kinds crawling around as well. Asked to get a second key card, told no they only have one. I wont be back. Felt dirty after being there.

I made 2 reservations, one for the one night. I was treated like a liar when checking in. The gentleman talked with someone who told him I was all checked in. My son and I stayed here (he's 24). I asked at the office for a second key and was told to go see housekeeping to let me in. He said no second key. The room has bugs crawling around and they don't clean while you're staying there.
