Excellent place to stay, right next to the lake in the state park. Walking trails nearby and very friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Was there to fish Ray Roberts. Darn near had the place to ourselves. Very beautiful location and facility.

Very spartan rooms for the price

Great location. But be warned, the accommodation is small, there is no sound proofing, inadequate bedding, making for a very poor nights sleep, shower very small if you are larger, you will not fit, and, despite advertising breakfast, there is none!

It was such a peaceful quiet visit. I will be back soon.

Nice place on the lake. I did have an issue that wasn’t resolved while I was there but they gave me a full refund. Things go wrong sometimes but the true test of a customer based business is how they handle it. Lonestar stepped up on this one. Despite the issue and because of their positive response to the issue I will definitely stay there again. Many thanks to the owners and managers.

It’s uncanny how noisy a room 15 miles from nowhere can be. Walls are paper thin. Nowhere to eat, so go to the grocery store before you arrive. Fridge is super small, though. This is a $45 room at best.

Beds are uncomfortable, had issues with the tv at night so had to wait the next morning to contact someone. No chain to lock the door to ensure safety of my family. Guy said “there’s a dead bolt on there” yeah that they have a key to. Place was nice tho, not really kid friendly.
