Lone Star Lodge and Marina

It doesn’t have all the amenities of your typical hotel but the scenery, lake and woods more than make up for it. Very enjoyable stay.

Needs to be updated.. the door threshold needs to be fixed so the bugs don’t come underneath

Absolutely nothing to do. Couldn’t even rent a (very overpriced) boat because the dock was out of commission. No restaurant on site. Nothing for anyone to do. I do not recommend this place at all!!

It was a great place to get away and unwind. The accommodations were neat and clean and the surroundings were spectacular.

I made arrangement for our accommodations at the Lonstar because it was by the lake and the scenery was beautiful. That is exactly what was there. Upon my arrivalwe were greated with excellent hospitality by staff and management. The rooms were very nice with a touch of western decor. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Perfect place for a quiet get away. Views were beautiful and staff was very friendly. Loved that we had a small table and chairs on our patio area. I definitely want to come back!
