The White Hart Hotel

Just from walking in, we had a great service by staff and all the way through our stay. Dinner was wonderful, breakfast so much choice and one of the best. It's such a lovely hotel.

I have stayed here before so knew what to expect, it has different proprietors but was better to be honest than last time which wasn’t bad anyway, it was just better this time!

Generally very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent.

Everything generally very good, but I wasn't given any info on WiFi, so had no access, which which meant my phone couldn't be used due to the rural location. i only found on leaving that WiFi was available, but that the relevant info sheet had not been provided to me. This aspect wasn't convenient, but the overall stay was still very good.

Brilliant team at the White Hart made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. Friendly locals, excellent food and great choice of wines and beers. Super dog friendly with pooch snacks and free doggy breakfast to accompany the excellent human ones. Paw balm in the room was a wonderful touch. Thank you team White Hart.

Room was cold radiators not on , aircon unit wouldn't come on but cam eon at 5am on its own and unable to up the temperature

Seven of us arrived by bike as part of a Rebellion Way tour. We'd booked three doubles for single occupancy and two twins. Only one twin had been prepared. Rectified later but frustrating for those whose room was not ready when we were all desperate to shower, change and have a rest. Then huge problems with running water in the bathrooms - I was mid shower when all water stopped entirely, presumably due to someone else taking a shower or bath. Very unpleasant having to shiver and wait 10 mins for water to return. Erratic heating in the bedrooms.
