The lighting around the mirror in the bathroom could be better.

Thriving small town hotel with friendly staff who are willing to go that extra mile. Parking directly outside the hotel. Comfortable, cosy, and welcoming bar with roaring log fire. Food was excellent. Great choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Extensive choice of drinks. Exceptionally dog friendly, they even have their own menu! Very comfortable bedroom and bathroom, nicely decorated.

Stayed with my large dog and couldn’t have felt more welcome. The evening food in the restaurant and the breakfast in the bar were excellent, and the room was comfortable and well equipped. Dog biscuits and fresh milk were nice touches.

Nothing. If you wanted an early night and were a light sleeper, then there was a bit of noise from the restaurant and the road outside but it didn’t affect me.

Good location to where I needed to be. Room was of a good standard and comfortable. The food is good and plenty of choice and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately had to leave early so was unable to have breakfast. Would recommend it.
