The staff is wonderful! Spent a week at this hotel and for the most part was very happy with my stay… however, having a fourth floor room on the street side was not stellar. Very noisy all hours of the night with traffic/ revving engines and around 4:15 I was woken up several mornings to VERY loud racket of garbage trucks… not just for a moment, but several minutes. SOOO, I’d highly recommend not being in rooms facing Soledad street. That is, unless you don’t mind being jarred out of sleep at that hour.

Close proximity to downtown attractions such as The Alamo. It’s on the riverwalk itself so super easy to go for a stroll along it, and get to nearby restaurants etc.

Over priced valet fees. Chose to park in one for eh nearby public car park garages which was only $10USD a day to park in (only downside is no in and out option) so once your out it’s another charge. We just planned our days so only took car out when we needed to.
