Great location, staff the rooms are comfortable.

No cooked breakfast.

Lovely furnishings, very clean and tidy. Nice to have a room that was accessible and lovely en-suite. I was lucky to get the last car parking space on site too!

Unfortunately my booking coincided with an event downstairs in the pub area, being just above the bar it made for a very noisy, constantly disturbed night from 8pm-2am. I’d been driving all day for 13 hours and just wanted a good meal and bed alas neither were possible. Also there was no cooked breakfast, not even eggs or beans on toast. So I had to start another marathon day tired and extremely hungry, a bowl of cereal and yogurt just doesn’t service a whole day on the road sadly.

On arrival the staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room and bed were very comfortable, and the shower was lovely and powerful. Plenty of Coffee pods and teas to choose from too. We had a wonderful 3 mile circular walk before breakfast as the hotel was in such a great location.

One small thing missing was a magnifying mirror in the ensuite for those with not such good vision, this would be easily remedied
