"Very Good"

Nice, cosy room; convenient parking available; lovely atmosphere in the pub in the evening; attentive staff in the evening.

Not good enough breakfast! Very poor breakfast service, self service instead. Just cereal, toast, etc, very basic.

Really super room at The Bulks Head. I was staying in my own but just thought if I had been with my husband, a small mirror in the bedroom would have been useful. Other than that I really can’t fault it.

"A pub with rooms lacking some comfort and the personal touch."

Location was ideal for our visiting purposes. Staff were very helpful.

The heating was not good on a cold night. Breakfast was help yourself and basic continental.
