The Tru in Staunton is clean and the staff is super friendly. Lea is the best. Annette is always so helpful. The breakfast is always good.

We stayed here two separate nights with a tour group. The Pros- hotel was clean, bathroom was well appointed with a good shower, breakfast was decent with plenty of sitting room. There were enough regular outlets, but not USB. The cons- no coffee maker- yes, there is coffee in the lobby, but I need it asap in the morning. So of course, there is no microwave either. The room is small, I mean really small . There is not a closet or drawer in sight, only hooks and narrow shelves. The “desk” shelf may be 6 inches wide, but I doubt it. Even narrower shelves were by one side on the bed, and a modern small round table, maybe a foot in diameter, by the other. No space for anything but a small suitcase on top of the refrigerator, and another small suitcase on a vented shelf over the heat and air unit. Which left less than foot width on that side of the bed. I would not stay here again if it was my choice.

Very clean hotel, friendly staff, delicious breakfast bar. Enjoyed my time here. Will recommend to friends and family.

Very nice stay

We drove here after playing in DC to get a head start on the way to Asheville NC. Got in at 2:30am so it was really just a place to sleep. Above average, but a little janky, especially for the price. The comforter situation was not cozy - the kind that is sort of a loose sheet wrapped around a comforter, with a bumpy textured top. Not dirty but not a “spotless” feeling. Parking was fine. Shower was nice, weird soap dispensers though, where you had to squeeze the bottle, and strange words on them. Thin walls. The light didn’t work in one of our rooms. The front desk people were nice, and the lobby was lively, with foosball tables and other games. Staunton was cute. There’s probably a more updated hotel/cuter place to stay, but would consider staying here again!

Great location to food, friendly staff and very clean rooms. I would def stay here again and at this hotel chain in other locations.

This hotel is always so clean and I am also greeted by professionals and feel so welcome. The breakfast is always good and many options are available. We all put our flip-flops on I like.
