Great accommodations. Near good restaurants, within driving distance from Tongariro (our reason for visiting this area), clean, comfortable beds. Only drawback is that there's only one bathroom for two couples. However, the toilet is in its own room - separate from the shower, but with a sink for hand-washing in each room. That made this facility workable for us. Highly recommend.

"Great house in an excellent location"

The apartment was perfect for the 2 of us, it had everything we needed, the kitchen was well kitted out, and it is in an ideal location for visiting Tongariro National Park, there was a supermarket and petrol station at the end of the roaf

The shower was good however the cubicle was too small, and were not big people!!

"Beautifully comfortable home base, wish we had stayed longer!"

This was the perfect, comfortable home base for our few days in the area and we would've loved to have stayed longer! Great location and provision of everything we needed. Will definitely be recommending Parkview to friends and hope to come back next trip. The views and house are stunning and very comfortable, the shower was great (always an unknown when travelling), the gas fireplace was a gorgeous touch to enjoy the evenings and was so effective we turned it off after a short while as it was so nice and snug!

Nothing that impacted our enjoyment of a wonderful stay - would have been handy to have some oil or spray provided for cooking as we didn't think to get any with our groceries. The beds were oddly noisy to even turn over slightly on (though plenty comfortable), maybe due to a protective liner(?), so utilised the separate rooms to get uninterrupted sleep.

The place is beautifully decorated and situated close to Happy Valley. It has all the necessary amenities to make our stay very comfortable. The convenience store/ fuel station at the end of the road is very well stocked too.
