Parkview Apartments

We had a lovely cozy stay at the Parkview Apartments, the location was perfect for us for a ski trip with an easy drive to Whakapapa ski field. Excellent location for local bars and convenience store. We will be sure to book again for next year!

Clean and functional townhouse, worked well for our family of four. Unfortunately, it was a low snow year, so we did not get much skiing, but we got hike the national park just a short drive away. The unit is well kept, with a well-stocked kitchen. We used it to eat breakfast and make sandwiches for our day trips. During our stay, in the middle of winter, there are only a couple of restaurants open in the small town. Also, the small grocery store has a very minimal selection, so we recommend stocking up on groceries before arriving at the property. The owners were great to deal with, quick to reply and answer questions. Great value for the cost of our stay. As previously mentioned in another post, the showers are tiny. Also, the beds are rock hard, stretch out those muscles before you go to bed!

The view, it was very warm and convenient to the mountain. 1 min walk to the 4 square

The only thing we didn't like was the beds, if you like a hard bed you will love it, unfortunately they were way to hard for us.
