Field Hakone Resort

The owner was extremely nice and friendly, offering great information on things to do and how to do them. Additionally, he allowed us to store our luggage at the property before check in, which was very kind. The room was exceptional and very spacious, with every amenity you could need. I would definitely recommend this stay!

Locatie was erg dichtbij een busstop waar enorm veel buslijnen kwamen. Dat maakte het een goede locatie voor het standaard Hakone rondje met de kabelbanen en piratenboot. Verder lag het aan de voet van Mount Kintoki. De hike van ongeveer 3u (totaal, omhoog en omlaag) naar de top van deze berg heeft een prachtig uitzicht op Mount Fuji. Verder waren de kamers ruim en schoon en was het personeel erg vriendelijk.

Nog een redelijk stuk reizen vanaf het hakone of odawara treinstation.

Upon check-in, they provided detailed explanations of local attractions and clear answers to all my travel questions. ​Heartwarming Touch: At check-out, I was touched to receive a thoughtful souvenir: a cloth and an origami crane folded from a pattern of my national flag. Super clean rooms, and big. One of the best accomodations I've stayed in Japan. Will definitely come back
