Very welcoming host(Stan) all needs were met. Loverly property excellent room. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Spotlessly clean, bright and spacious home. Delightful gardens and outside space. Nothing was lacking in any way. Breakfast excellent.

The hosts were quite wary at first and extremely particular, which wasn't terribly relaxing. However, when they realised I was very respectful of their lovely home they were 'softer' and pleasant company.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay! Great value with the large yummy breakfast cooked for us. Our only regret is that we didn’t have time to enjoy it more and chat more with Stan, but we had a morning flight to catch. They were very accommodating to our departure time. They also provided a great dinner recommendation where the locals go.

Please read the negative reviews on this property and believe them. Yes, there are positive reviews, but for the amount of rooms that he rents out on a daily basis, the percentage of good reviews is extremely low. Anyone who travels knows that most people that have a negative experience do not want to write about it.

I was greeted by the male host, and immediately instructed to remove my shoes and leave my camera bag at the door to start the “check-in procedure”. When I asked if they had a room at the back of the house available, he remarked only if I slept in his room, which is not appropriate to say to a single female traveler. Once we entered the room, I set my camera bag down on a blanket on the bed, he immediately grabbed it, and started to move it into a closet, That is a $5000 camera. I did not appreciate him doing that. He was condescending and arrogant with his instructions of how to use every single item in the room, turning on light switches, the shower, opening the blinds, using the key to open doors, turning on the TV, etc! You are instructed not to touch the curtains, not to touch the thermostat, you are made to feel like a child, during breakfast, he will stand over you and stare at you the entire time, he will take plates from you that you are still using, I moved a bowl next to the main plate and while I was eating out of it, he walked over and picked it up and put it back on the larger plate ,at no time did I feel relaxed and comfortable staying at that property. When I was leaving the property that morning, he followed me to the front door and asked me when would I be returning, he is very controlling. The following morning, I made a cup of coffee and put it in the small refrigerator to have in the afternoon when I came home, I entered my room only to find my personal belongings had been moved, items I had set up for my comfort had been put back to where he wanted them, and the coffee had been removed from the refrigerator. I went out and asked him what happened to it, his response was “he thought I put it in there by mistake “so he dumped it. I let him know that was intrusive of him, he changed his story to that he had to follow the house procedures of disinfecting every single cup, and glass! His behavior was absolutely bizarre, controlling, and arrogant.

The place is absolutely spotless. The room is beautiful and just perfect with good quality furniture and mattress. Good shower, fantastic lighting, coffee and tea facilities.... Etc.. WiFi works perfectly. Breakfast was incredible with good quality products and lots of choices. One can see the owners are doing this with love and do everything to make you feel comfortable. I booked about half an hour before arriving and that didn't stop the nice lady to prepare a room for me. They are really very kind!
