This is our second time at the Standard and this was even better than the first. The location is nothing short of paradise, the staff is super friendly, the food that was excellent last time is even better now, the wines are better and the activities are great. Our 4 year old has been taking sushi classes and art classes (big recommendation to do, the guys running it is amazing, the painting was beautiful and we go an awesome video). Our 2 year old really loved the fire show. Both really loved just hanging at the beach. The kids club was temporary moved but that wasn’t an issue as actually our kids mostly preferred just playing at the beach. The staff are like family when you leave!

My recent trip to The Standard was awesome! From beginning to end, it felt like a dream. The food was great, the staff were friendly the views were exceptional. Special shout out to Youssef our host, who made us feel welcomed. I would definitely recommend this resort and I look forward to returning again.

We had an amazing time at the standard! The island and the beach is like a dream. The island and its nature is naturally created. Everyone is super kind and friendly. If you have any wish, they will do anything to fulfill the wish. We stayed on a water sea villa, which we can highly recommend. The room was nice and very clean. The cleaning staff came by 2x each day! The view from the villa is breathtaking. In front of your villa, you have a beautiful coral reef for snorkeling - we saw many fish, baby sharks, a turtle and rays. Snorkeling equipment is offered for free. You can reach the villa by a bike or you order a baggy, which is also for free. Refering to the food, the cuisine was top! Every evening is a different theme night (italian night, asian night, surf & turf, maledivian night,…), so there is a wide range of different food. On top, the hotel offers a weekly schedule, so there is the possibility to do a lot of activities (yoga, aqua aerobics, pool party, dance sessions…) or enjoy a big entertainment program (fire show, movie night, music quiz, and many more). However, there are no mosquitos or any insects, so you don‘t need to be worried about that. All in all, we had an unforgattable stay on Huruvahli! It was our first time on the maledives and it was the most wonderful vacation we had!

Had a fantastic & relaxing 25th anniversary for 4 nights at ocean water villas. Big round bathtub was a pleasant surprise, actually bigger than the photos online. Fantastic view. Very clean and nice room & frequent house keeping service. I had welcome champagne 🍾 & additional champagne & cake for my anniversary, also surprise for the special flower bubble bathtub decoration just before our beach dinner. I choose the all inclusive package & the drinks & meals are more than I can eat/ drink. We just take it easy & enjoy healthy breakfast, light lunch & enjoy the daily selected dinner, BBQ shak Wagyu beef cheek so delicious, Japanese food & Maldivian meal at Garaguda also memorable. Highly recommended hotel for special occasions

We have just returned from a truly memorable trip to the Maldives, one that will stay with us for a long time. The journey began with Jasmine Holidays, whose expert advice once again proved invaluable. A particular thank you to Tom, who understood exactly what we were hoping to find. With so many islands to choose from, it can feel overwhelming, but their recommendation of The Standard suited us perfectly. Having previously stayed at their Miami hotel, we felt confident it would offer the right balance of relaxed energy, ambient DJ sets and laid-back atmosphere rather than an overly couples-centric experience. From the moment we arrived, The Standard delivered exactly what we had hoped for. A special thank you must go to Youssef, whose warm approach and genuine care made every day simple and enjoyable. Whether arranging dinner or planning activities, he handled everything with ease and kindness. He is a real asset to the resort. Another highlight was the diving experience with Ahmed at Drift Dive School. Twenty years after gaining my PADI, it was time to return to the water, and Ahmed approached the entire process with professionalism and thoughtful reassurance. His refresher session was excellent and the subsequent reef dive unforgettable, with grey reef sharks, Moray eels and an array of extraordinary marine life. His knowledge, calm demeanour and one-to-one guidance made the experience exceptional. I cannot thank him enough. We opted for half board, which suited us well. The breakfast and buffet options were generous, varied and consistently good, with excellent curries and a superb noodle chef. As a non-fish eater I had plenty of choice. We also dined at Izakaya one evening where the fish was outstanding, although my vegetarian platter was a little heavy on the tempura. This was the only minor negative in an otherwise excellent stay. Our over-water villa was spacious, comfortable and beautifully peaceful. The private terrace, pool and steps straight into the sea created a wonderful sense of escape. Although the villas aren’t brand new, they are meticulously maintained, spotlessly clean and perfectly suited to a relaxed, barefoot-style holiday. For those seeking ultra-luxury finishes it may not be the right fit, but for comfort, privacy and a calming ambience, it was ideal. The communal spaces were equally enjoyable, even on the one rainy afternoon when there was still plenty of room to unwind. The pool staff were great, and evenings spent playing pool while live music or DJs set the tone made for a lovely end to the day. We also enjoyed simple lunches by the pool — the Tinga tacos were a favourite. For what we wanted, The Standard was the right choice. We returned home rested, recharged and ready to face the British winter with a little more ease. Our sincere thanks to Youssef, Ahmed and the wider team for making the trip so special.

The staff and the service at the Standard have far exceeded our expectations and they have made this trip amazing for us. Our host Poula has been on hand for us every step of the way. He has ensured that our every need has been met whilst remaining friendly and professional at all times. We could not recommend the hotel more and hope to be returning in the future.

What a special piece of paradise. Amazing atmosphere and a crew that seems more like a family doing everything to give you the best stay possible. Special thanks to host Youssef always ready to answer any question big or small. No need to go anywhere else, loved the beach, the snorkeling, the food, the spa, the villas and the people. Will be back.

Standard Maldives was everything we could hope for a more. From the sandy white beaches to the blue waters we enjoyed every moment. The staff were incredible. From the moment we checked in Youssef made us feel at home and catered to our every need. The activities were a blast as well, from fire dancing shows, tennis lessons with Aleksa and diving with Rebecca we never wanted to leave.
