The entire experience was breathtaking from beginning to end. Thanks so much to all staff but special thanks to dear Poula who was adorable to assist us in this unforgettable journey.

We had an unforgettable stay at The Standard Maldives, a true paradise where every detail is thoughtfully curated. A special shoutout to Poula, our incredible island host, who went above and beyond to make our entire stay and anniversary celebration truly magical. His warmth, attentiveness, and personal touches made us feel so welcomed and celebrated. Thank you, Poula, for making our stay so special. we’ll cherish these memories forever. We stayed at a ocean view bungalow which was perfect for snorkeling straight from the villa stairs. In our opinion, ocean side was much better than lagoon side for snorkeling and privacy. Food was great, though we didn't go for the all inclusive package as we don't drink much and usually skip meals. so we went for the bed&breakfast package and got the a la carte menu for lunch&dinner in order to save some money. Room was spacious and AC worked brilliantly. The hotel provides bycicles for you to cycle around and beach towels. Complimentary 1h kayak and paddle boards everyday for activities. As well as life vests and snorkeling equipment for you in the room. One tennis court available for booking, with rackets and balls provided by the hotel (I would recommend bringing your own racket if you are an avid player :) )

This was the most amazing vacation my husband and I have ever had. Not only was the scenery gorgeous, the entire Standard staff were super attentive and treated us like we were family. Our island host Zainu was one of the best humans we have ever met, helping us when we were sick and made our experience extremely memorable! We can not say enough about Zainu’s efforts to go above and beyond to make sure we felt cared for while being so far from home. We will definitely be back to the standard mainly because of the incredible guest care that surpassed any prior stay before this. Thank you to the full staff for being so thoughtful, kind, and wonderful. We will miss you all!

Fantastic 4 day anniversary trip to The Standard Maldives. Perfect place to go and get away from it all- sleep, eat, snorkel, repeat. Fantastic array of fish seen right off our over water villa. Accommodation cool and chic. Zainu our host organised anything we wanted so zero stress. Guduguda restaurant at night a great setting for Maldivian food, breakfast buffet relaxed and diverse.

We’ve just returned from a 7-day stay in the Maldives and it was nothing short of incredible. The hotel and views were absolutely stunning — even better than the pictures. Everything felt truly 5-star from the moment we arrived. As soon as we reached the resort, we were greeted by our host, Zainu, which was a lovely and unexpected surprise. He stayed in touch with us every day, updating us on the activities happening around the resort, booking all our dinner reservations, and even organising a surprise birthday cake — such a thoughtful touch. He genuinely went above and beyond throughout our stay. The entertainment was fantastic as well, with the duo velya_good & Davideconigliaro_sax being our absolute favourites. All the staff were incredibly friendly and always smiling. A special thanks to Laddu, who took amazing care of us every single day, making sure we always had a drink in hand and checking that everything was perfect. His service really stood out. We ate at the Maldivian restaurant, the BBQ shack, Joos Café, and the all-you-can-eat buffet — and not a single bad meal. Everything was delicious. Only disappointment was only finding out the sunset bar was not open when we arrived due to reconstruction, we were advised this should be re open in December, so hopefully we can enjoy it on our next visit We will 100% definitely be coming back here. An unforgettable holiday from start to finish!

We had an extraordinary stay at The Standard with Shamaau, our dedicated guide who was on hand to communicate events, programs and answer any questions we had during our stay. The entire staff was so courteous and helpful that I still can't believe it. The hotel, facilities, and food are all fabulous. I will remember this memorable time all my life! 🤩
