DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Portland

Clean, pretty affordable, and well-located—I got to Portland in 10-15 minutes. Front desk staff were lovely and accommodated my access request for my grandma. Room had a fridge and microwave. Coffee right next door. Only slight blip regarding room cleaning—there were a few days when seemingly the trash did not get touched. After a few days this does pile up.

The evening check-in desk clerk was pleasant, helpful, and efficient. He verified with housekeeping that our room was ready, gave clear instructions to the room, made sure my rewards membership was counted, provided a fresh cookie and provided access to refreshments. Also, a poly pillow because the large room had only fancy down pillows.

The room was very clean. The area was safe and quiet. Easy to get on and off the interstate.

I’ve stayed here a few times, it’s an easy pick. Always clean and comfortable. Convenient location, but parking can be tight.

Property is clean, dated and noisy. We were placed on 7th floor and had freeway noise at all hours. Good size room, comfortable bed. Decent value for money.

This was the first time I was put in the second tower. Coming off the elevator you could see dust on the table … ya just a table with no decoration… it was dirty. My room was fine. The weekend staff is not as friendly as the weekday. The bar staff was very slow to respond to new guests sitting at the bar as they had conversations other people going on Overall I was not impressed with my stay Prices at the bar are all over the place one minute your paying 750 for a glass of wine. The next 12.00. We are not talking top shelf here. They would not give us a menu on wine or other drinks with prices.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I really liked the welcome on the TV screen, that was a special surprise. Would definitely stay there again.

The only thing I did not liked, curtains did not blockout lights from the outside.

lighting in the room was very dim, the entry light in room did not work also the lighted mirror in bathroom did not work. Difficulty working TV in room. Toilet bowl to low for seniors. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
