Layout, historic building , had to carry bags up stairs to elevator , some of the staff were lazy

Hotel was clean and the staff was extremely courteous and friendly at all hours of the day and night. Good location for the Arena district and convention center. Hotel was quiet. Plenty of hot water.

Bed was extremely uncomfortable. No support at all. Odd layout of the lobby means that you cannot use take a luggage dolly from your car directly to your room. You need to transfer everything from one cart to another because of steps in the lobby. They do help you with that, though. There is no parking and no breakfast at the hotel. Parking is either via valet, at a fairly steep pricetag or blocks away at private lots (Price depends on how far away. 10 minute walk to a lot with in and out privileges). Food comes by way of a bistro in the downstairs area of the lobby. Nice atmosphere but pricey and limited. Just felt lacking for the price.

Front desk staff is an indication of what to expect, our person was wonderful, helpful, and very professional 👏 our room was spacious and clean. Welcome on TV was a bonus!
