Clarion Inn

I was disappointed that there was no stopper for the bathtub and the restaurant and bar were closed, but room and facilities were nice.

Our room was not clean! There wasn’t ANY soap in the room to use. Smelled like mildew.

The beds were comfortable and the staff was really nice .

I paid $165 for a room with a cracked bathtub and no drain stoppers in either the tub or the sink. The floors were dirty, the door lock questionable, parking was horrid to say the least ( You had to sit in your car and wait for someone to leave before you could park) and breakfast consisted of either cereal and milk, or waffles. Nothing else was on the menu. On top of all of that, the walls were paper thin, and you could hear the long-term residents all night. ( which disturbed our service dog and us). Then, there was a lack of standard things in the hotel room. We had to go to the office to get an ice bucket, soap, shampoo, and creme rinse. Then the TV didn't work, but I got that fixed on my own. The staff was very nice and really tried to help.

Very run down, strange atmosphere. Advertised free breakfast but there was hardly anything there. Cereal but no milk. Cold coffee no creamer. No one working at breakfast place.

Large clean rooms with kitchen appliances. Comfy bed, nice showers.

There wasn’t much to like. However, the bed was nice and comfortable. Plenty of pillows. However, when I woke up the last day, there was a weevil on the bed. The pool was really nice.

The entire property is filthy the carpets throughout the entire hotel. All of the hallways and stairs are covered in dog hair leftover cereal. It’s really bad. The door jams in all the rooms are dirty. This hotel is obviously very old and has been used really hard. Two people in our party had to change rooms because their rooms were either smoke filled or filthy.

We had a king bed suite. Only reason why it didn’t get one star was because the bed was decent and the room was clean. Otherwise, shabby workmanship in bathroom. Not one towel rack or clothes hook. Open light fixture with no bulbs, caulking smeared on walls, no tub drain stopper. Ceiling beam easy to bump head on. Open electrical socket due to broken cover, curtains hanging off the rods. Breakfast was cold cereal. Dark room, waffle batter empty. No one around to ask for help. Won’t be back.

The shower was great. The Breakfast was awesome.

The hotel needs work. Our room had no smoke alarm just wires hanging down were it should have been. Also a hole in the wall with wires hanging out. No room clock or phone. We also did not have a hair dryer and maintenance had to come install one.

Location

The property was very dated and in need of paint and repairs and updates.
