Century Park Hotel

Old building but fairly maintained and operated. Elegant style in late70's and early 80's. Staff are very courteous and engaging. However, during our stay, there was a time only one elevator was working, and we have to use the stairwell. The breakfast cafe was inadequate to seat guests at a certain time and even their brewed coffee had to be requested as it frequently ran out.

Convenient for what we were doing in Manila so easy to come and go to rest or get back for evening.

Charged way too much for late check out of 2.5 hours. Had to pay 1000 pesos per extra hour. The shower faucet was broken and the shower head was not working properly, things I would expect to be in good order with the price of this accommodation. Staff would not give any additional complimentary water past two small bottles in room, must pay 170 for bottle from resto or go to sari sari next door and pay 30 pesos per bottle. Breakfast not included, an additional 1000 per person

Century Park Hotel Review - Disappointing Second Stay This is my second stay at Century Park Hotel this year, and unfortunately, it will definitely be my last. My experience this time was far from what I expected and left me quite frustrated. It all started with me trying to check in early. I was informed there would be a charge of 2,000 PHP for an early check-in, which I declined. I decided to leave and return a few hours later. When I came back at 1:45 PM, I was told that there were no rooms available and would need to wait until 2:15 PM for one to be ready. This was already inconvenient, but I thought I’d give it a shot. When I finally got a room, it wasn’t what I requested. I specifically asked for a twin bed, but was given a room with just one large bed instead. To make matters worse, the room had a very bad view, which I found extremely disappointing. I immediately called the front desk to ask for a room change, but I was told there were no available rooms, despite the fact that I had booked in advance. I tried again the next day, but still no luck. The room itself was old and outdated. The furnishings and overall condition of the space were far below my expectations for the price I paid. The view was also awful, which just added to my frustration. Overall, I had a very unpleasant stay and do not plan on returning. The service, the condition of the rooms, and the lack of attention to customer requests left me feeling very dissatisfied. I will not be booking with Century Park Hotel again.

This used to be a nice hotel but is not anymore. We booked into a "new deluxe room" The room we are in is VERY DATED and is not very clean. The service is marginal - we opted to have our room "refreshed" by housekeeping but they failed to give us bathroom tissue and bottled water - had to ask for that. We also had to ask for an iron and ironing board and the iron does not have steam - haven't seen one of those in about 30 years. We decided to go to the Japanese restaurant and found that it was an expensive buffet so we ordered room service instead - the restaurant had a QR code to scan for the menu with picture of each order. My wife's udon soup was was overcooked and my "Wakadori Teriyaki" Set meal did not come with rice or noodles as shown in the restaurant's menu picture. The staff oped to argue with us as we had ordered incorrectly but we ordered what was pictured in their menu. The included breakfast buffet was good but did not offset all of the other issues.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable beds.

Food menu is static. It would help if some nationality specific options are introduced e.g. indian.

Nostalgia mostly when I was a kid my dad usually takes us to this hotel when it was formerly Sheraton.

Don’t expect something from this hotel . Very much dated. Should have done some refurbishing during the pandemic like what other hotels do but it didn’t. But for the budget conscious this is one suggestion. Too bad there is no more nearby mall or even a convenience store that takes minutes to reach. Shame that it is owned by one of the riches in this country. Saving grace are perhaps several of their staff and the old but reliable restaurants. Regarding breakfast be prepared for chaos and the inconsistent WiFi support.
