"A Charleston jewel"

Truly a great introduction to Charleston. The hotel is a jewel in her crown. We were helped when we asked. And your Swamp Fox Waite staff was always cheerful and accommodating. We would definitely recommend a stay at Francis Marion.

"Good location but better choices."

Hotel was very noisy inside and out, thin windows and doors. Beware of parking. Desk tries to push you to their $40/night valet. Street parking is free from 6pm-9am and on Sundays. If you plan to use your car during the day, meter parking is on a few bucks.

"Charleston"

It is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Staff is friendly and a special shout out to Sylvie in the Swamp Fox restaurant, she is a great server and very attentive. The fire alarm going off twice in the same day during our stay was unfortunate and annoying since it wasn’t a valid alarm. The staff didn’t clarify this either so departing down 8 flights of stairs twice for nothing wasn’t fun.
