Hotel Murano

Gemessen daran, dass es sich um ein 5-Sterne Hotel handeln soll, kann ich hier leider keine positiven Dinge finden. Das Design mag aussergewöhnlich sein, das war es aber dann auch.

Das Hotel hat ein grundlegendes Problem mit Sauberkeit. Beim ersten Zimmer (1400) hing eine (gebrauchte?) OP-Maske an einer der Nachttischlampen. Eine Beschwerde beim Hotel-Manager brachte uns zwar ein Upgrade (Zimmer 2400), aber auch dort mangelte es an Sauberkeit. An den Wänden in der Dusche hingen überall teilweise ganze Haarbüschel mit langen schwarzen Haaren (von uns hat niemand schwarze Haare). Wir haben uns richtig angeekelt gefühlt. Außerdem ist die Ausstattung schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Das Hotel hat seine besten Zeiten längst hinter sich. Dass das Hotel angeblich 5-Sterne haben soll ist ein Witz.

A lil spendy

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse des membres du personnel tant dans leur effort pour s'adapter à nous avec une application de traduction que dans leur réponse à notre demande pour de l'eau en bouteille ou du lait pour le café.

L'émail de la baignoire était parti par endroit. Rien de très grave mais le visuel n'était pas terrible.

The food was so salty I couldn’t eat but 2 bites before my stomach was upset. The shell fish were not washed and full of sand still

No pool or hot tub, no microwave in room, no utensils in the room. Bar closed most days I was there

The views were amazing from our room on a high floor! And the room was spacious, with a comfy bed. The elevators were also really fast, and parking was right next to the hotel, with almost full indoor access.

This hotel has high potential, but a few things weren't great. The reception staff gave off passive-aggressive vibes (welcome to the PNW!) when asking for an extra blanket. There was no armchair in the room for just relaxing (as is common in hotels with room of this size), and one nightstand was missing. The hotel restaurant was also understaffed, so they turned a group in front of us away, even though they had multiple empty tables (we gave up then too).
