El Conquistador Tucson, A Hilton Resort

Lucas is wonderful and amazing! If you have the chance to take one of his classes, please do so! Yoga by the Pool was great!

Fun atmosphere and great staff, Lucas was a blast and hosted a great game of golf! The hotel was beautiful and food was great!

My mom, sister, and I stayed at this resort in November 2025 and had a wonderful time. We loved the restaurants, amenities, daily activities, and the spa - but what really impressed us was the attentive staff. Georgina at the front desk was helpful and kind. Joey, JT, and Rosalie at the pool bar went above and beyond to provide us excellent service. Javier at the restaurant was an absolute delight and anticipated our needs. Geoff, Katie, and Mikal at the lobby bar were knowledgeable of the menu and speedy with their service. We really enjoyed our time at this resort, and the staff on site were a large part of our positive experience.

I attended a line dance organized by Rosalea ,our dance teacher ,who did a fabulous job of involving staff and the rest of us in a wonderful outdoor line dancing event and fundraiser for PACC under the magical sky at El Conquistador. such a gorgeous landscaped place to dance and celebrate. I hope we all will be invited back many times in the future. Bonnie

Attractive resort with scenic views, nice grounds and pool. The bar food was very good. The on-site restaurant was pretty good. Bar and restaurant staff were outstanding and welcoming. Sadly, the gym didn't have enough air conditioning. It was so hot that it was difficult to use it. Had some issues at checkout separating my work and personal folios. Regardless, hope to stay there again in the future. Overall, a positive experience.

We had such a lovely time at a line dance fund raiser. The Hilton was beautiful venue & great host. Rozali was such a fun instructor Hope to return!

Lorenza helped me book a room a month ago. I told her I had my 94 year-old mother with me and that access to the room was important. When I got here we had the shortest walk, between building three and four and we were the first room inside building four. I was elated. Every time we came and went from the car it was easy. My mother only uses a cane, but upon request I received a wheelchair so that she could enjoy the beautiful walkways and grounds and pool area at El Conquistador!

Rooms are tired. Feels like they were renovated 20 years ago. Air conditioning in our room didn’t work well and it’s not even hot outside. Some staff was very friendly and some soso. View of mountain is lovely.

My sister, mom, and I took a little girls trip to escape the cold. We opted for a room with a view instead of space/amenities, but quickly regretted that. Lorenza at the front desk was so helpful in allowing us to switch to a suite with more room. We stayed at the resort most of the time and were very impressed and charmed with the waitstaff behind the bars and at the restaurants - notably: Georgina, Joey, JT, Mikal, Javier, Cindy, Katie, Geoff, and Edgar. Everyone was so personable and genuine, it made the experience all the better. One of our favorite parts was the free exercise classes hosted by Lucas and Rosali. They were so knowledgeable and had such diverse options. We also went to the spa which was beautiful, serene, and very well done. Lastly, a huge win was the hertz rental car office on location. I recommend booking a day or 2 before you need it, because they will not come to that location unless they have a reservation- in which case you won’t have to uber/lyft to another office to pick up the car. But drop off at the hotel was seamless. The food at Epazote was incredible. The pools and architecture were stunning. And not to mention the resort is a cool 45 mins to saguaro national park. HIGHLY recommend, 10/10 experience.

I’ve stayed at El Conquistador a few times with my family but the most recent visit was with a group. Very nice property but they tend to fall apart when it gets busy. The staff must be used to a very, very slow pace. Rozali & Lucas were our favorites as we were there for Wellness. They definitely went above & beyond and should be compensated for that. Especially, compared to other staff who should consider other job/career choices.
