El Conquistador Tucson, A Hilton Resort

The resort sits in a beautiful location with Pusch Ridge rising up behind the golf course, and views of the valley to the north and west. The pools are heated and there are numerous fireplaces on the patio and near the pools and hot tub. The staff were very attentive and responsive. I want to mention Joey because he was on-shift as the pool bartender, yet found the time to do other tasks to maintain comfort and beauty in the pool area. I saw him with a leaf blower, clearing some debris to avoid having it blow into the pool. He also made the extra effort to get out and go around the pool checking on guests and taking orders for food and drinks. When I commented on his work, his reply was that he really enjoys working there, and likes the fact that he is able to do the things he can to make sure guests are enjoying their stay. There are many hiking trails nearby, and it's a pretty easy drive down to Tombstone, or the nearby Saguaro National Park. The resort has everything needed to really relax and enjoy a peaceful day, whether golfing, sightseeing, hiking, or just relaxing, El Conquistador is a great place to stay.

I can’t believe the Hilton brand allows a hotel to get this run down. The carpets are nasty, dirty smelly. Dirtiest hotel room I have ever been in

An absolutely beautiful and amazing resort. The entire staff has gone out of their way for us and are incredibly friendly. Lucas, was a perfect event host for a chipping contest onto a floating green in the pool. This is a must stay in Tucson.

We love this resort! Beautiful and clean grounds. Cozy rooms and a really comfy bed. They put up great holiday and Christmas decorations. It even ‘snowed’ (some sort of snow machine) at 5 pm each night. We ate at all restaurants and had positive experiences every time. Shout out to JT who provided excellent service on our last night here. El Conquistador has become a fun holiday tradition for us. It’s our second Christmas here and we’ll be back next year! cleaning stuff just entering the rooms without permission

My personal stuff like food and drinks from my plastic and refrigerator was been removed by the cleaning lady even though we are not scheduled check out yet. When i confronted her she just said it was a mistake for the room # that needed to be cleaned on that day. Our stuff is just scattered all around the room.

Beautiful setting, near my relatives, beautiful facilities, and best of all, they allow cats! As long as this resort continues to allow our cat to stay with us, we will be back every year!

Room was comfortable despite a bit dated. Carpet should be replaced. Dinner at Epazote in-house dining was delicious; Krystal, our server was excellent and very attentive! She gets 5-stars! Overall it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We had a great time at the bar with JT. He made some wonderful holiday concoctions, was very professional, attentive and courteous - bottom line …great service!!
