DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Burlington Vermont

Excellent

The breakfast was delicious. Service was excellent from everyone that we spoke too.

We thought we were going to be a little closer to the downtown area so we could walk. It's close but a lot of traffic.

The cleanliness was a fine experience...and the atmosphere, the ambience with the vegetation & water features downstairs was very welcoming & soothing.. The fact that the room was nice & cool & comfortable was a real bonus, as that day it was extremely hot outdoors, and so upon entering the entrance & the pleasant lobby, it was so refreshing. The next morning my husband & I enjoyed a pleasant breakfast buffet. The staff was very cordial. All & all it was a restful place. A recommendable hotel.

As comfortable as the duvet was- because of the heat it may've been preferable to have had lighter blankets during the summer season (the duvets for the fall & winter.) Also- (a personal preference)- I would've liked 4 facecloths instead of two, but when we arrived, it was late, so didn't want to disturb for room service...Other than that it was a restful stay. Thank you, Staff ;)

Clean, most staff helpful and responsive

Elevator issues without notification posted, housekeeping staff gathering in hall outside of room to gab disrupting sleep in the morning; offering cookies to respond to complaint was insulting

my disabled daughter had surgery at UVM so the Doubletree was great access to the UVM hospital but After my last stay was horrible but I spoke with Thomas an brought it to his attention what was not acceptable and I told him that I had to come back up for another surgery and he agreed to give me a discount and he stuck to his word even though I got charged for meals that I didn't have or my family didn't have but anyways.
