DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago - Oak Brook

The location was great, the breakfast was good but they did not have enough breakfast meat options for me. They serve pork/bacon every morning and for people that do not eat pork they should have chicken or turkey bacon/sausage options.

The A/C broke down so it was hot in the room, peeling paint in the bathroom, no meat options for non pork eaters and mold/mildew in the hallways.

My stay was great. I would definitely be back. The only thing was the noise from the construction was a little irritating. But it got better as the week went by

Reception is terrible... even though i'm a gold member, this is the wrost Hilton hotel i met...

The property is in a great location. The rooms are a bit outdated. There was no microwave or refrigerator. There were also no USB ports to charge mobile devices and there were not many wall outlets to plug other devices such as a laptop. I initially booked a king room but when I checked in, I was asked if I would take a room with 2 double beds. After one night, I wanted to go back to the king because I needed the space but nothing was available and no one reached out to let me know when one did become available. So overall, not a horrible stay, but not the best either. I would only consider staying at this hotel if they update the rooms.

Very clean, guest service was very helpful… room service was spot on with every need.

The staff at front desk were nice and very accommodating. The shuttle was convenient. The hallways were very hot and humid and the carpet was dirty and musty smelling. The bathroom was old and looked dirty - toilet seat was ancient. An update is very overdue!!!

The location and Lobby were great. Also parking was available at Jo additional cost which was nice.

The check-in staff was rude. The room was not what was pictured on the booking. The room we stayed in was crusty with peeled paint in door frames and had an odor. Terrible value for a 400.00 room for the night.
