DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago - Oak Brook

THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD, ROOMS COMFORTABLE AND SPACIOUS.

THAT WE PAID HAD TO PAY FOR BREAKFAST, WHEN WE ARE PAYING ALL THAT MONEY FOR THE ROOMS,WE MIGHT ASWELL HAVE BREAKFAST FREE. LIKE FREE AS TO WHERE WE DONT HAVE TO PAY FOR IT WHEN WE BOOKING ROOMS. SHOULD ALREADY BE INCLUDED.

Convenient for the convention I was attending.

The elevators were not all working, and the doors close in a couple of seconds after opening.

Location Bar and bartender was nice

The rooms are outdated. Phones don’t work to call hotel or to call down to front desk. Being told you have a balcony is misleading when the door is locked to go on the balcony. The room I got at first I couldn’t see out of the window.

The rooms were nice. They had good anemies. And it was easy to find the room and the ice machine. The place also had a bar in it so it was convenient for us. Once the bar closed, we were able to get wine from the snack shop by the front desk.

The room smile, the bathroom, shower lining was torn and raggedy, the water in the sink and the tub had a slow drain. I did not know they were having a motorcycle convention this particular weekend of my stay. It was very noisy. I asked the attendant the night before I left. Could I add a tin of cookies to go home with me that Sunday morning it was not done. She did not put the order in. I received no cookies to take home on my stay. The breakfast was not appealing. there was no microwave nor refrigerator in the room ask staff where the microwave and trash was located. I did not receive a text back until after I had checked out did I mention the phone service was not working? They were very sorry for the inconvenience. I hope this was a detailed review of the Doubletree location in Oak Brook. It should be updated if they are not already in the process of doing it now.
