Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge

This location was perfectly centralized. Close enough to historic downtown without the congestion. Beautiful views of the river, very accessible to highways . Just a bridge crossing to Fenway. Right between MIT and Harvard. Would definitely stay there again!!

The experience at the Hyatt was incredible! We stayed here for my daughter’s graduation. They upgraded us to a room with a view of the Charles River, so beautiful. You can watch crew teams practicing every morning or take walks along the river or walk to Flour cafe which is a 10 minute walk. At first we thought it was a bit out of the way from public transportation but the hotel provides shuttle service to several locations in Cambridge including couple key T Stations. We used this everyday day. The hotel staff are amazing, including Rachid and Lin who were so pleasant when serving us breakfast.

Just a short stay in Hyatt Regency Cambridge. Took their shuttle bus from hotel to Trader Joe’s then returned to the hotel. Met a driver called Edgar V, he is funny and responsible to pick me up from hotel and supermarket. Wish him all the best.

From the first sight it is a nice place to stay, satisfying 4-star hotel expectations. However, I strongly believe I have mostly paid for the view and the location.

I had to change an early available room which I had been offered at the lobby, because I ended up with a dirty room with leftovers from the previous guests and it was looking over the roof… The lobby receptionist had assumed I was too tired to care and offered me the worst room in the building :) Fortunately I asked for a change politely for a room that looked over the river. Fortunately, they satisfied my request and offered me a room with a okay room. I tried their free coffee and it was sour and impossible to drink. Breakfast is not included, but I recommend you to include it cause you will end up paying even more if you separately order anything and the food is not really fascinating and the portions are really small. I felt hungry in a hour :))
