super friendly staff - from the front desk, to valet, to even the housekeeper on the floor! rooms are clean! my favorite has to be the breakfast buffet and their staff

A good amount of places to eat nearby. Room was very nice and clean. The shower was great just the way I like it.

Property was nice and area was wonderful Parking cost more than stated on Expedia $65 per night.

We stayed in a “King Bed-High Floor” for one night to celebrate our anniversary this weekend. Our first room, 1512, was spacious but had a strong sewage odor. When we first checked in it was slight, so we thought we could power through and we went to dinner at the stockyards after dropping off our bags and changing. When we came back after dinner the smell was nauseatingly strong. We called the front desk and they sent housekeeping up. Housekeeping said they’ve had a lot of rain lately and that the building has old pipes and sprayed the curtains and walls with air freshener but it did not remove the smell. Then an “engineer” came and poured liquid drain cleaner down the sink, shower drain, and in the toilet. This did not fix the smell either. We went to the front desk and asked if they had any other rooms available and they did have one room left on the other end of the floor. We were moved to room 1526. 1526 was a smaller room but had no smell issue at all and was across the hall from a neat memorial suite to JFK. As a side note, we had to walk by 1512 to get to the elevator to check out and the smell was even in the hallway outside of the room when we walked by. Like other reviews mention, parking is $75 and is painfully slow. Plan 25-30 minutes to get your vehicle. The ice machine is not working so you have to get a small bag of ice from the pantry in the lobby. For the history this building is interesting but due to building maintenance and age this is not really a spot for a romantic getaway.

Our rooms smelled like crude oil and sewerage the ac didn’t work at first they got it fixed but it wasn’t working well I asked for new rooms none were available at the time. We had stayed there before and it was great I asked for a discount but the front desk guy said no

The individual at check in did a great job and was very helpful and responsive.
