Hyatt Regency Milwaukee

The rooms were well appointed and very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, as well as the staff in the bar.

We had a group of 3 rooms at $400/nt and felt that at least complimentary coffee or breakfast would have been appreciated. Also, the elevators were eternally slow.

This property looks rundown. Needed a refresh 20 years ago.

Rooms smelled like the ventilation system needed cleaning. Microwaves placed outside of elevators on floor? Looked like a low rent operation. I used to think staying at a Hyatt I was guaranteed a level of quality, but my last few stays at various properties has made me view this as a last resort booking. This property needs entire makeover.

I’ve never stayed in a “business class” hotel with such a bad WiFi service. Also, if you want to have a good night sleep, you better carry your own pillow.

The hotel is decently clean, but it's starting to get old and worn down year over year. The elevators are also not enough to service all of the floors in the building so you are frequently stuck sitting around for several minutes. When I initially checked in the room I was assigned had not been cleaned from previous occupants (trash, dirty towels, etc.). The desk staff were helpful in correcting this but it's a problem I have never had to deal with before. The room itself was fine, but the temperature was sweltering when I arrived and the humidity was off the charts in the room. The AC took hours to get it to a better temperature and humidity. I wouldn't be surprised if they have mold issues in the building with how humid and hot it was. The parking price per day is also way too high, even for downtown Milwaukee.

Staff was great, good location, reasonably priced. Close to a wide variety of restaurants with several different cuisines!

Parking fees were excessive as were the room rates. Food was very good. Rooms were average. Room temperature was not controllable. Housekeeping staff didn't speak English. Good location.
