Hyatt Regency Long Beach

We had an absolutely great stay here! The hotel itself is wonderful, clean, and in a perfect location for getting around and exploring the area. What truly made our experience unforgettable, though, was the incredible hospitality. Luna, who handled our check-in, was absolutely awesome! Right from the start, she was incredibly welcoming, warm, and professional. Beyond the seamless check-in process, she went above and beyond by providing us with a fantastic curated list of local places to visit and amazing spots to eat. Her recommendations completely elevated our trip. It is rare to find front desk service that is both genuinely warm and incredibly knowledgeable. Luna is an absolute asset to the team, and we will definitely be staying here again next time we are in town. Highly recommended!

During our company symposium stay, I had an unfortunate experience with room assignment and communication from the hotel staff. Upon check-in, I was given a room that was already occupied by another guest. This created a very uncomfortable and embarrassing situation, especially since the occupant worked for the same company attending the event. Situations like this raise serious concerns regarding guest privacy, confidentiality, and room assignment procedures. To compensate for the incident, I later learned that a $30 room credit had supposedly been added to my account. However, this was never communicated to me during my stay. At checkout, the staff mentioned that I should have used it if I wanted to benefit from it, but the issue is that I was never informed the credit even existed. The interaction left me feeling misled and disappointed rather than genuinely cared for as a guest. While mistakes can happen, clear communication and professionalism in resolving issues are equally important. I hope management reviews their room assignment verification process and improves how compensations or resolutions are communicated to guests moving forward.

Excellent location and valet parking worked out wonderfully with checking out, going on a Whale Watching cruise then picking up the car later than check out. Thank you!

Staff at this hotel were exceptional. Especially the staff caring for the floor I was staying on. Friendly, warm, and welcoming. I travel a lot, and found this hotel to stand out in terms of customer service.

Beautiful! My room was clean, my view was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was great. I was very pleased with my stay. Can't wait to go back

While it’s had some minor updates the infrastructure is very dated and in particular the AC incredibly bad. Staff is friendly enough but there’s only so much you can do with a worn out dated property. Don’t expect the lumpy worn out mattress to give you any rest. Whatever you do don’t get a “sunset” / southside room because the noisy AC can’t keep up. I’m sure there are much better maintained properties in Long Beach. Finally the TVs are way too large for the rooms. It’s like they’re trying to toss you a bone to make up for everything else being so old and worn out.
