Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina

Great customer service and will be coming back again. Always a nice a hotel to stay especially the ocean views. Great to bring your kids since they have a nice pool. Nice family atmosphere.

Great room in Bay II building. Great customer service. The only downfall (if you could consider it one) is the market (area for quick food) had limited hours and was located in a separate building.

We recently stayed here and had a mixed experience, with some highlights but also some significant issues that impacted our stay. On the positive side, we really enjoyed the pool and watersides. It was relaxing and a nice part of the property. At checkout, the front desk was also understanding and waived our resort fees, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives. Our room patio faced a walled-in view, which was disappointing and not what we expected. Additionally, self-parking was unavailable during our stay, forcing us to use valet (which was later comped due to the situation). The most concerning issue, however, was with valet. When our truck was brought around, it had a completely flat tire, so flat that we couldn’t even get a jack underneath it and had to call AAA. The valet staff stated they were unaware of the flat tire while driving it, which was surprising given the condition. They did not offer assistance and stood off to the side during the situation, which felt unprofessional and dismissive. As a result, we now have to replace the tire and have the vehicle checked for additional issues. While we appreciated the gesture at checkout, the valet experience and lack of accountability were disappointing and left a lasting impression. I hope the hotel addresses these issues moving forward, as they significantly impacted what should have been a relaxing stay.

Loved our stay at Hyatt! Perfect for families with a true resort feel. It is a beautiful location, with convenient dining options, and plenty of activities for everyone. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!
