Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina

The location was amazing , the rooms were very nice and clean .

We specifically booked this hotel because of the slides for our children. We got to the hotel at check in 4pm and it took over an hour to get valet, checked in and out bags, we headed straight to the pool, realized if we wanted food by the pool we needed to order now because they were closing in 45 minutes. Food came fast we ate and the slides were already closed . We then planned to come down i the morning before check out 11 am to swim for a bit and hit the water slides however the slides don't even open until after check out time . It's really ashame that the hotel almost makes you book a second night just to enjoy the amenities that are included in the price of a one night stay .

Wonderful location with excellent ocean view. Lovely sunsets were delightful. Morning breakfast was either buffet or from the menu. staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

The interaction we had with one of the Hyatt employees (Carolyn) was extremely disappointing. She spoke to my husband, my adult daughter, and me in a tone that felt very out of character for the Hyatt brand. When I approached her to address the concern, she responded by saying she was sorry “I felt that way,” without acknowledging or taking responsibility for the way she spoke to us.

This hotel has great amenities! The pool was fun for the family. The beds were awful. The main bed had huge body dents and it felt like you were sleeping in a hole. The pull out couch was completely broken and had been put back “together” with coat hanger wire. We had to put the mattress on the floor. There is nowhere to hang any towels at all. Overall, the hotel is a beautiful location and has great amenities but the rooms need updating, especially the mattresses!

Great customer service and will be coming back again. Always a nice a hotel to stay especially the ocean views. Great to bring your kids since they have a nice pool. Nice family atmosphere.

Great room in Bay II building. Great customer service. The only downfall (if you could consider it one) is the market (area for quick food) had limited hours and was located in a separate building.
