Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa & Casino

Overall it was a good experience. The room was clean albeit some items in the bathroom were dated, old and should be updated. The onsite restaurants: breakfast was yummy and some of the dishes served for dinner were yummy too. Prices were high so we were a little disappointed with a few of the dinner dishes not being as yummy as they could have been. For a family with teens, there’s honestly not a whole lot for them to do onsite. There was some miscommunication among the staff with different answers coming from different employees. We did have some exceptional customer service from Cristian (dining), Hans (Adventure desk), Christine (pool dining), Elaine and Pablo (housekeeping), and Osvaldo (dining). These individuals provided above average customer service and really added a wonderful touch to our stay. In summary, this location would probably be better suited for those with younger kids. We did appreciate the cleanliness of the room and hotel overall.

The Hyatt property is beautiful and the hotel is very nice and well maintained. The staff was great and anticipated our every need. I highly recommend this hotel

Rooms and pool furniture could use a little refresher. The worst part of our stay was the gambling. We sat down at a 25.00 blackjack table. We were the only 2 people playing and only 2 tables open. The dealer was rude and unfriendly. This class of hotel needs to vet their dealers better. Also, you might get more business when customers are non existent to lower the minimum bet.

One of our favorite places to stay in the Lake Tahoe area. The activities and staff were on point, and the pool area is always a family favorite. Cannot wait to get back!

Fantastic stay at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe! The resort truly feels like a mini Switzerland with its beautiful surroundings and stunning views. Our kids absolutely loved the heated swimming pool and jacuzzis, and the complimentary s'mores with Hershey's chocolates were a wonderful touch. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and offered great views. The food throughout our stay was excellent, but the highlight was definitely the breakfast —lavish, delicious, and with plenty of choices. The complimentary shuttle service to the nearby beach was very convenient, and the casino added to the overall experience. A perfect family getaway, and we would love to return!

We recently stayed at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe and had an outstanding experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure our family had a great stay. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers easy access to everything North Lake Tahoe has to offer. If you're looking for a relaxing family getaway with excellent service and a great location, I would highly recommend Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe. We look forward to returning in the future.

We experienced an issue during check-in when our reservation made through the Chase Travel Portal could not be found in the hotel’s system. After an extended call involving both Chase representatives and the front desk staff, it remained unclear where the breakdown had occurred. What truly stood out, however, was how the hotel team handled the situation. Natasha, the Room Director, immediately stepped in, took ownership of the issue, and sincerely apologized for the inconvenience. Since it was a holiday weekend, the room type we originally reserved was no longer available, but the team quickly arranged an alternative room for our first night. As a gesture of goodwill, the hotel also waived our valet parking and resort fees. I was especially impressed by the professionalism and customer-first attitude demonstrated throughout the experience. Rather than making excuses or shifting blame, the staff focused entirely on resolving the issue and ensuring our comfort and satisfaction while they continued investigating the problem behind the scenes. That level of accountability and care speaks volumes about the hotel’s commitment to exceptional guest service. I would like to extend special recognition to Natasha and the front desk team for their outstanding service and support. Their professionalism, empathy, and dedication set a standard that many hotels claiming to offer luxury service should strive to match.

lovely rooms, very comfortable and well stocked with amenities (robe, coffee, tea, comfortable bed, water) beach access was not available due to construction hot tub was perfect price of food in the snack bar was ridiculous-- $18 boxed salad the casino seems to detract from the class of the property loved being greeted with a choice of wine or sparkling cider
