Hyatt Regency Sarasota

We stayed in the property for 3 nights and the room had cockroaches. The rooms were average and needing maintenance. The surrounding area of the hotel is good as it is near to Downtown Sarasota where there are a number dining and shopping options.

The hotel needs to be renovated ASAP!! We arrived at night and we were really tired and the AC was not working, it also had a smell and the next day we requested to be changed which they did and the other room had the fridge broken and requested to be change again and the AC was broken… we were too tired to keep moving so we stayed. The gym is really old fashion and was very dirty. The manager tried his best to solve our issues and even gave us a discount. But was not a very pleasant stay.

In the rooms there is no comfortable chair or even in the lobby no comfortable chair to seat and there was a charge for resort , did not understand what is the resort in the hotel if pool is considered resort all hotels have pools in Florida so not sure why Overall not satisfied

Good pet friendly hotel

Check in was smooth and easy, the staff was friendly and warm. Checkout was also easy and there were absolutely no issues when I requested a later checkout time! Only downside was that I didn't book another night so that I could enjoy their beautiful pool and wonderful amenities.

Insolation of the wall is poor I can hear noise from my next room and when I was checking out from the Hotel I asked front desk lady to send my receipt on email. I checked out on Monday 23rd Dec I still haven’t received an email from them.

Not sure where it's list, parking is valet only at a costly expense. Was not aware of this before booking. Ssite state parking available.

Non smoking policy not enforced. Shampoo, body wash was not replenished ever. Have ask front desk every day of my stay.
