Hyatt Regency Minneapolis

Wonderful location. I appreciated the fast elevators and the attention that the cleaning staff paid to my room. The food was fine--not great. You can do better in many of the surrounding restaurants. The grab-n-go cafe was a welcome convenience.

A nice hotel with a beautiful lobby and very kind staff. House-keeping was chaotic and not appropriate. Our washroom was left dirty and beds unmade. The view was very disappointing from the junior suite. But the size of the room was great. There are some issues with the furnture. Avoid the Diner across the road - they are awful. A nice enough Vietnamese is nearby. Other restaurants were all very disappointing and/or overpriced.

I was there for a conference, and it was clear the hotel was designed around major conferences and conventions, with lots of meeting rooms, many spaces for informal meetings, etc. The guest rooms were clean and in good condition, and the staff was very friendly and professional in every way.

The location is near a lot of great restaurants and Nicollet mall downtown, but parking is very convenient and it's easy to get in and out of downtown from the location. The hotel has a great little market for snacks and drinks on the go, and the gym is next level. I travel frequently and I have never seen a hotel gym and fitness center that extensive and large. It had a lot of the typical machines and cardio I find at my normal gym, and even had kicking/punching bags and a basketball court! It was amazing and will be my new go-to hotel in Minneapolis. If you workout every day, this is your hotel.

Very nice hotel. Clean, friendly staff. Restaurant was very slow and understaffed but food was fine. "Market" store sells a variety of food, Starbucks coffee, and toiletries, etc. Very convenient to all that downtown Minneapolis has to offer. I would def recommend this hotel if you're staying in Minneapolis.

Hotel is clean, rooms are nice, but conference center has almost no natural light in any of the rooms. Food was absolutely awful at the conference, so my conference experience was meh but the rooms were nice and I slept really well and it was clean -- the most important things were covered. Just beware if you're relying on the grab and go cafe -- the lines were so bad in the morning I had to skip breakfast each day.
