Hyatt Regency Savannah

Not a fun experience at the Hyatt Regency Savannah. From the start, the valet staff were confrontational. I needed to leave my car long enough to unload my items. I asked for five minutes, but was told I needed to self-park my car and walk my items in. I did not want to valet my car due to the price of 55 a night, which is fine, but for this trip I knew I could park across the street for 15 total for two nights. Secondly, my wife and I reserved a king bed, but when checking in, we were told only double beds were available. I find it disappointing that a hotel would overbook rooms. It was not just me, as the other couple we were with this trip was not awarded their reserved room either. Overall, I was very disappointed with Hyatt this trip and would not recommend staying at this establishment. The J.W. Marriott, a few blocks down on the water, had much better customer service in the past and treated guests with a much better attitude.

Woke up to ants (a lot of them) on the table and was all over our food that was left on the table, still not sure where they came from

Location was excellent 👍 Hotel and premises was excellent 👍 When we go back to Savannah my wife and I will look no further than this Hyatt Regency. My wife and I celebrated our 52nd anniversary this past weekend and it could not have been better!

They could have had a better food selection in the restaurant but what we ordered was good.

Room service never came even after asking twice when they skipped our room! They also only gave us shampoo. Three bottles with no soap or conditioner. After asking, they left us a bottle of conditioner but still no soap or body lotion. And then still never cleaned. Super disappointed. Also you must pay for parking. Valet is a whopping $50 daily. If you want to walk a block to park your car in the city deck it’s $15. There’s also stains on the lamp shades. Least of our worries but gross

We recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Savannah with our little dog and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was beautiful, immaculately clean, and perfectly located right on the riverfront, making it easy to explore all that Savannah has to offer. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone we encountered was professional, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. They were also exceptionally accommodating to our dog, which made our stay even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a comfortable, pet-friendly hotel in the heart of Savannah, we highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Savannah. The combination of outstanding service, a great location, and excellent accommodations made for a terrific stay.
