Boston Marriott Long Wharf

Hotels location was amazing! Concierge was very helpful and gave us many tips for things to do around Boston.

Conveniently located on the waterfront this hotel has great views of the yacht club and is within walking distance of several sites. The rooms are clean and services friendly. The club has a great breakfast buffet, but it’s limited in hours with nothing available in the evenings.

The location is wonderful, surrounded by beautiful waterways, boats, restaurants, history, and a traditional neighborhood.

I did not like the bathroom sliding barn doors that provided not much privacy.

We have been to this hotel before…giving it a second chance and it will not be given a third. The bathroom door was broken and the “water views”are of tourist boats waiting to go out the next morning. It definitely has a ‘convention” feel and that’s fine but don’t go there expecting a four star experience with this hotel. Not a good value for the money.

We recently hosted a conference of lawyers at the Marriott Long Wharf, with delegates coming from across the US and the world. The meeting was a great success, and the hotel was ideal for the event. The location can’t be beat, and the rooms were clean and well- appointed. Most importantly though, the staff was incredible. It began with Meg Garruto in the sales office, who bent over backwards to accommodate our group. She was responsive to our needs, friendly and on top of every detail. A huge shoutout also goes to Lisa Young, the hotel concierge who was incredible. Lisa is the best asset to the hotel. She is energetic, professional, and has a large network of contacts in the tourism network around Boston. She helped us with a group boat cruise, arranging transportation for our group for a museum tour, and countless other valuable suggestions to make our event memorable. The outside activities ran smoothly because Lisa went the extra mile to follow up on every detail. I do hope that the hotel management realizes the prize they have in Lisa at the concierge desk! We were very impressed with all the staff we encountered over the weekend- from the doorman, to the front desk, to the housekeepers, to the restaurant staff. Each one of them was friendly, efficient and professional. Hats off to the Marriott Long Wharf- I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to host a meeting in Boston!
